Weird Screen Issue With My TV
I have a Hitachi 49R80. Lately it's been doing this annoying thing where when I pull up a video of any kind, the screen goes black for a few seconds. Sometimes it does this twice in a row. It'll go black, then the image returns and then it goes black again. I can be scrolling on a website and if there's a video it triggers the blackout. It hasn't done it during games but that can always change. I don't know what it is or how to stop it.

have you tried using other HDMI cables? And by any chance is your television a different refresh rate to your default monitor?
HDMI handshake resets or video mode switching.

Are you using microsoft edge? if so, disable the toggle in settings, system, hardware acceleration.

Turn off dynamic refresh rate in your system - display - advanced settings.

Set as fixed refresh rate in your video control panel and make sure there isnt an option enabling some kind of dynamic change per application.

In your tv, you may have a "auto adjust picture mode" or "always on HDR". Toggle those off.

I turned off something called graphics acceleration. Is that the same thing?

Yea see if that helps. If you notice it still flickering or your video chugging along, then reenable. It could just be your tv.
