Fun fact but the company that made Final Fantasy thought it was gonna be their last game because they were close to bankruptcy. But the game actually was a success and they just kept making more games.

Why didn't the characters in that novel just mass produce AURYN? Were they stupid or something?

That same question could be asked about Final Fantasy. They made one good character called Auron, and then they entered a phase of obsession with femboys.
