Chinese Cultural Awareness
I do apologise to certain person (and all the people who tried to 'friend' me straight afterwards) on being not very sensitive in expressing some of my thoughts on another thread.

I do like Chinese culture.
Love the food, love the martial arts and philosophy, Sun Tzu is one of the biggest inspirations in my critical thinking.

So here is a thread not about negatives of any country or peoples but about what is excellent about China.

I am big fan of Romance of the Three Kingdoms and before Dynasty Warriors came out not many people in the west knew what I was talking about.
-I have not read the Chronicles.
Romance is to sum it up quickly a fictionalised version of the great Three Kingdoms of Ancient China.

If you want to learn Sun Tzu's Art of War, reading the Romance of the Three Kingdoms is a good companion to it too.

Another great thing about China I like is the famous Terracotta Army.

Over to Off Topic and anything they got POSITIVELY speak / mention about China.
ie What do you like, is there a food, is there an art and so on.

If you like chinese culture youd like taiwan and maybe hongkong.

mainland chinese culture is diluted and usually just a show put on for tourists, they wrecked it to become a bootleg ripoff of the soviet union.

Is there a favourite Chinese film you like?

I like Scorpion King, Twin Warriors and Little Big Soldier to name a few.

Everything that appeals to me about Chinese culture comes not from China but Hong Kong or Taiwan.

Hong Kong movies (Wong Kar-wai, and pretty much every Kung-fu flick), Cantopop, Traditional Chinese characters, the food. And I play a Guzheng, a nice Chinese instrument.

Fun fact but a handful of Chinese V-Tubers are actually from Taiwan and not China.

This is true. Even though my family is from China I am technically not considered Han Chinese (ethnicity), I am actually considered Miao.

Give an example of different cultures within it that you like then.

Same goes for the UK different cultures and so on.

try conducting business with the chinese... that´s all the "culture" you´ll ever need

it sure helped me turn away from that country within "an evening out with the chinese prospective business partner"

there´s absolutely nothing for me worthwile in China, frankly - lost cause imho
