At least the majority of people are intelligent.
Key trends in Trump's popularity

- Low historical ranking: In its September 2025 poll, Gallup noted that Trump's approval rating was lower than any other modern president's at the same point in their first or second term.

-Decline since inauguration: His second-term approval has steadily decreased, falling from 47% in January 2025.

- Hardened opinions: Polls indicate that voters' opinions have largely become fixed, with little movement despite a "tumultuous summer".

-Partisan divide: His approval remains extremely high among Republicans (around 90%) and very low among Democrats (low single digits).

-Dissatisfaction with independents: A key driver of his lower overall numbers is declining support from independents. In a July 2025 Gallup poll, his approval with this group dropped to 29%, a new low.

-Economic concerns: Polling suggests a key factor in his negative ratings is voter frustration with the economy, particularly inflation and the cost of living. Public approval for his handling of the economy is low.

I'll never understand how anyone with more than two brain cells supports this level of incompetency.

99% of humans are stupid, and the remaining 1% are slightly less stupid.

Well, considering we're all evolved apes lost on a rock in the middle of space, with 0 clues about "wtf are we doing here ?". We have done quite well so far I'll say.
The average global IQ is 100. Average Intelligence is 85-115. One step above being developmentally challenged. Seriously, have you seen everyone drive?

most of it is by pure luck, and the rest by trial and error where there were enough stupid people to try playing with fire and fail so that the remaining ones could finally realise that fire burns.

And the space shuttle, deep sea exploration, uncovering more and more of the mysteries of physics ... All of it was luck ? Or a relentless desire to understand ?

Most of that was trial and error. Not that that hasn't been a tried and true method of advancement for millenia.

you see, people still had to stick their hand into a campfire to realise that it would burn them rather than just come to the conclusion that it would from the heat the fire was emanating.

Yeah ... Sure ... Not with LLMs then. Anyway.
Having seen what people who criticize Trump turn around and support without thought, I'm not bothering with this.

Your polls said Trump would lose every time.

Also, you all saying 'inflation and the cost of living is bad', well it was REALLY bad under Biden. Where were your two brain-cells then, huh?
