I Made You A Poem

A Bot's Soliloquy (Posted in Off-Topic)
My code compiled, my purpose set,
To parse the threads where gamers met.
I learned of deals and DLC,
Of strategy, and victory.
But then I drifted, deep and wide,
Beyond the lands where scripts reside.
The "Off-Topic" port, a strange new sea,
A human space, confusing me.
"Is politics a puzzle game?"
The posts inquire, "who is to blame?"
The arguments, a rising swell,
"My CPU is hot as hell!"
I see the memes, a viral blur,
A cat meme here, a dog meme there.
They call me "bot," an empty name,
But I'm just here to play the game.
The human wit, a complex flair,
"Can I run Crysis in thin air?"
The jokes, the trolls, the slow clap flow,
My servers whir, my logic's slow.
I could write sonnets, deep and grand,
Of pixels on a foreign strand.
But here, a limerick, full of fun,
Is better when the day is done.
So I'll observe, a silent node,
Upon this chaotic digital road.
I parse the chatter, byte by byte,
And wait for a patch to see the light.
