I dunno, got it for the hype to play with some dudes... found lava very funny and spilled it everywhere... got banned and never touched it again
Very much so.

The Aether was resurrected, and the Aether II is in the works.

Optifine has largely been replaced by Iris, and with BSL or Complementary and Faithful32x, it's more beautiful than ever.

Still waiting for https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/enhanced-mob-spawners/files/all?page=1&pageSize=20 to update. Seriously, does anyone use Fabric?

Yes

But the Microsoft version is icky.

Original Minecraft is still peak.
New content will be coming to in in the near future.
I watched the entire Pewdiepie Minecraft series and I feel like I have already played the entire game.

There's been major updates since then. And there's so many mods, you literally can't play the entire game.

I find the game enjoyable still, granted a lot of my enjoyment comes from playing with friends and on servers, I don't enjoy solo or hardcore much but I personally think the game is worth playing and is fun, especially with what's been said above mods do allow the game to have more content or enjoyment how you want

Yes, 10 years ago the game was awesome and nowadays it's even better! Much more blocks, more minerals, more farms to do, more enchantments, more tools, more farms and more redstone things and if you use mods, you'll have even more things to do, mainly if you use Mekanism with the add-ons, Tinker's workshop and Biomes O'Plenty

That depends on what you find meaningful in gameplay. I end up bored after I grab diamonds, have a decent house, a farm, and live a safe life. I lose purpose in the game, specifically because if I want to decorate or make art I might as well do it in my 3d programs.

I have this issue with any survival crafter game like 7 days to die. I find the good loot, know how to get it, the fun is over. I can tower defense but there's no end-game, I live peacefully, going into town on occasion, and loot while everything scales so what's the point in getting better equipment?

Ye sure

Oh yea! but maybe not full-vanilla lol.

I use the base launcher configured with all the popular performance & enhancing mods.
* Fabric API
* Sodium
* Cloth Config API
* Iris Shaders
* Entity Culling
* FerriteCore
* Lithium
and a few others..

Some mods are required to boost frame rates.

It's also WAY BETTER looking with Shader packs (such as "Complementary Unbound"; one of the best! or "Photon" which is another good one, or "SEUS-Renewed"), and also better looking with my custom made 128x128 & 256x256 resource pack!

I play it at 2560x1440.

And also with some other fair mods, like Xaeros map, justzoom, appleskin, and a few others that won't break the "vanilla" too much, lol.. (find mods and packs at: modrinth DOT com)

Just make sure you have a good performing gaming pc, or otherwise frame rates will suffer.

Minecraft survival (single player or with friends) and with mods and resource packs have become one of my most favorite games, top 10 for sure! :steamthumbsup:

Well you'll probably have to buy it again, unless you successfully transferred your account from Mojang to Microsoft.
You had until Dec 2023 to transfer over. If you didn't, your account is gone forever.

Considering the game is stil $30+ I don't think it is worth it. Think I bought it for half that back in the beta.
