Anyone here have a console as well as a PC?
I've been a PC gamer for 20 years, the last console I played was the PS3 which I played for about 2 months just to play GTA 5.

But now I'm an older gentleman, I feel like playing games while kicking back on the sofa, feet up just enjoying nice slow paced single player games from time to time. But for those sweaty FPS games or tactical games where a mouse & keyboard is just better, I'll sit at my desk and use my PC.

I'm probably going to wait for the PS6 when it gets released in a couple years but I was just wondering how common it is for hardcore PC gamers to also have a console to play on.

I have a PS4 but I use that for the kids when they visit. I don’t want them to touch my PC.

I grew up on consoles, didn't have my first "personal" computer until highschool. Everything a console can do, a pc can do better. And that's the honest truth. I still like consoles, but I'd never waste my money.
have both consoles and PC, aye. i am "mostly" a PC gamer when it comes to anything modern, except for exclusives (like demons souls on ps5). but i also enjoy so many older console titles that have never released on PC, like survival horror and jrpg titles.
Fun fact but I had a console before I had a PC. My first console was the PlayStation 2.
No but I have a gaming Laptop and several consoles (I mostly play on the laptop though)

im of the argument that if a game wanted to be played, it would be accessible without exclusive 3rd party strings attached. exclusives are a way of saying "we're ugly, steer clear unless you absolutely need to be unburdened of your delicious mouth-watering money"

hidetaka miyazaki agrees, as he is still gutted to this day that bloodborne (a game he created) is exclusive to PS4 (yes, 4, not 5) because of weird sony legal issues.

Yeah, it was a terrible mistake on their part. That's one of the biggest examples of lost revenue. Sure helped Sony... but for how long?
Just old consoles. The last new console I got was a ps3

There are so many games that are still locked to the ps3, the only way modern audiences can experience them is through piracy and emulation. I do look forward to seeing the eventual push game developers will make to ensure the longevity of their work. (more games will port to pc soon)
