This is big.
But what is it for?
For purposes of this thread we will assume it is not a Stalinist Purge of majority of The Brass in an attempt to sabotage the US military prior a major war.

What War is about to start or they going to get involved in?

Israel Assistance?
Peace keeping force, allowing Trump to make is construction deals in a George Bush Jnr kind of way - but with Reagan's way of letting others do the fighting prior then.

Venezuela?
The major hit on finishing the Drug trade from Venezuela and allowing the USA to take oil as payment for it.

Ukraine?
He will send mega force to help in the defence and allow Ukrainians to go on the offence while the USA sit back and take credit for saving the world.
Or
Putin offended Trump too often, and now he is going to go Full Total War Mode and strike Russian interests globally, including the gains in Africa - essentially taking over Former French territory.

Taiwan Defence?
Sending a crazy amount of military to Taiwan and the region in general and put a stop to China's constant bullying/harassment/violence against everybody smaller than them.

Anywhere else?

The meeting in question that you were told to freak out over was focused on reducing the number of overpaid armchair generals.

My best guess of this top secret military operation is that they are preparing to take Canada. Something major is going on. I doubt they need to do this if it was just Venezuela.

Do you think that the Canadians can actually fight back ? I don't. Most of them will meet the US tanks with the flag of USA cheering up. It will be mostly a parade of joy and love

It might be something utterly mundane. Hegseth has suggested he wants to cut down the number of generals. 20% in the four-stars, and 10% in the general an flag officers affiliated with combatant commands[abcnews.go.com]. It could be that he actually wants to see and interview them before he decides who to cut.

If it's something major my guess is that it would be the Ukraine. A N.A.T.O. Article 5 response prompted by Putin's incursions into N.A.T.O. airspace. That's basically World War 3. Venezeula and Israel are too small fry to be worth recalling all of the generals. I mean I would not be surprised if those matters were brought up in the meeting, but as an aside to whatever the meeting is supposed to regard.

My best guess is a target that won't nuke the USA mainland nor use effective guerilla warfare against it. So the non Cartel ridden areas of Mexico then the Cartel areas once all FOB are setup, else Canada or Greenland.
