What I have heard are stories about his work ethic of watching tictok all day and his roommate noticing stains on certain walls(not a good story). It seems he knows enough programming to get a game up and running(I haven't checked, are we still "waiting" for Heartbound to be finished?).
Anyway If all that was spin from internet trolls then so be it. I've not watched any of his videos nor directly witnessed his gamedev experience(he was a tester at Blizzard, not a dev) so I'll remain undecided about if these stories are real or just a smear campaign.

Elon is also getting said mockery and ridicule, it's just that there's a small cohort who still like him (just like Mr.Maldavius). Elon fanboys just tend to be louder/more numerous than Figtree's because Elon has a larger presence

It was insulting but felt less so than some of his other vids. I think he's generally toned it a bit down recently, and for the better

Nah, he deserves it. All he had to do is say "I'm sorry, I was wrong", or any variation. But the guy simply can't reach a level of humility or self-awareness that shows he's just as normal as the rest of us.

Instead, he has this "I'm always right and you're always wrong" attitude that people hate, even when he's severely wrong. He wanted to take down the SKG initiative, and everyone else took him down instead.

All he had to do was apologize.

I see Heartbound is on steam, but its Early Access. I'll wait until it becomes a "real" game before digging further into it(or the demo).

Regardless of if you love, hate or never knew him.

The social media gaming hate crowd bashing the man in several topics was quite funny to see them being wrong in some of those.
And for me to avoid pointless discussions, i'll just say that the official reaction to some pertinent stuff has been reported and had the exact reaction he said would have.

In political matters when you need impact you can't have the motion going back to the drawing board, but fingers crossed that something decent comes out of it.
Last i heard where it counts nothing happened.
