Am I overthinking it

there’s this girl I met weeks ago she’s awesome and we started texting 2 weeks ago and she was actually the one who started the conversation we talked a lot and had fun but lately things have been weird she sends a message and I reply right away but then she takes 20 or 30 minutes to respond sometimes even 2 or 3 hours

but later saying she says sorry I was busy with my family or I took a nap and she always apologizes and says I hope you haven’t started hating me but she still keeps doing the same thing am I overreacting or does it mean something

If you're seriously worried about a lag of 30 minutes to a couple of hours between texts, then you need to cut this girl loose and seek therapy for your control issues.

Nobody said anything about hitting anyone, my man; it's the worrying about that message lag as some kind of "should I be worried" indicator that is an indication that yes, you should be concerned--but not about her.

Insecurity kills more relationships than infidelity ever thought about messing with.

Yes. If it took her 2 hours to answer your last post, wait 2 hours before you answer hers.

Flip the script & don’t instantly respond to her next time. Then casually respond later. Don’t ask her if she hates you though. Just respond, then be like “so, what do you think of -insert topic-?”.
