Between people saying they'd literally die for palestine (words are cheap) and one guy actually self immolating himself in protest of da oppresshan.... but y tho?

Palestine is a completely foreign culture and shares little to no values with the west, especially libs, and adheres to a religion hostile (often violently) to LGBT, and supported Saddam's violent takeover of Kuwait and so few or none of the middle eastern countries accept them as refugees.

so why is this even on anyone's mind

Because their taxes are funding a genocide, something that could happen to any of us at any time. Also a morality civil issue as well. It's very complicated.

You don't have to be of a specific culture to recognize the atrocities of genocide. Certain things transcend nationalism and race and religion and gender.

As someone who was born in america and was raised before the radicalization and grooming to agendas started...

I don't care about a country that does not share my views or want to give the same rights I have in a country that doesn't allow the same rights.

...Cause the irony of these idiots wanting to stand by this country is that sympathy does not make a foreign country to sway to your way of thinking.

what ? which countries were bombed and who was colonized and how does that relates to it ?

Hamas and other groups are the result of efforts by western powers to establish a foothold in the middle east and africa.

It´s not that only Americans or Europeans are unhappy with the government in Israel. The Israel people, and Jews are unhappy with it as well...

Like it´s not about Israel or the people, but about the government.

And "how does that work" has to do with history and how Israel came to be. It´s in general problematic. Like imagine that the area where You live is now another country, with other people and another culture, from one day to the other. And that new country contains a very holy site for Your religion, which changed the ownership over the course of history a couple of times. And perhaps it would be easier to make any progress there, if some "terror organization" would just nuke Jerusalem so nobody can enter the area the next 40k years - and all those religious sites are gone, and nobody would claim it as their capital...
