It's because you're insecure. Either due to your physical appearance or your personality, so you need to work on that. Get confidence in yourself by getting a body you're proud of and try to practice talking to real people via voice chats or calls

Well, if you could consult with *any* of the guys in say Hearts of Iron IV that're worthwhile (not the monsters, mind you), they'd tell you to be genuine- the gals who'd want you then will have the real you... at least that's a start.
Also, it appears that a LOT of what they look for is guys with moral backbone; so do NOT lack in willingness to stand up for principles, as the guys who go along with anything really are weak in the worst way possible!
She'll test you, but by and large, what she's doing by that in our terms is testing to find out if the ground's solid enough to build on.

I initially thought you wanted to stop them from attaching a rope to the top of a building and sliding all the way down(Rappelling). There are non-gender ways to stop them if thats something you want to know.
