I have experienced that in reality and in life, when people are injured, the magnitude is calculated, that is, the degree of damage, not like in games.

Okay, and?
When you first see a person refusing medical aid and instead grabbing duct tape you know you have lived.

-do not do this, like everything in my life its a bad idea.

Never trust me in the medical field.

Dax is the type of doctor who would accidentally transplant 2 left legs to a patient.

Duct tape is the cure-all we have been seeking all this time! It can mend planes it must be able to mend humans XD (I've seen folk use glue on wounds as well, was amusing :D)

At least the saying "They have two left feet" will finally true :D

Yep, they did that to.
I dunno, maybe doctors simply don't tell you how many hp you lost.

I don't understand it.

In my experience games always precisely calculate the magnitude of the damage.

Pretty sure there are some stat checks in reality as well so don't neglect your RES stat, permanent debuffs are a thing though which would make for a very lame mechanic in games.

I can't think of any permanent debuff. I think you just don't know what the body is capable of and what can be achieved with the right tools.

You may be thinking surely losing a limb is permanent debuff ? No. It takes 3 months in a wet medical pod to fix that. (not counting for retraining time)

For spiritual beings there are ways to uhm... navigate around ANY injury, including past ones.

Movies and games aren't real life, so we must discount them in the field.

But saying that... if this was me, I would be crying like a baby
