Existence: Early Access or Final Release?
So here we all are, pixels on a forum, packets on a wire, meat-suits on a rock. Marcus Aurelius once said, “You could leave life right now. Let that determine what you do and say and think.”
Cool. But also ... what if I just want to finish my backlog before I “leave life right now”?

The Stoics argued that the universe owes us nothing but change. Everything we “own”, our saves, our skins, our Steam library, is on loan from chaos itself. Seneca would probably tell us to uninstall our fear of death the same way we uninstall a buggy mod. Epictetus might add: “The controller is not yours; you just borrowed it. Play well before you hand it back.”

If that’s true, maybe existence isn’t a triple-A title with a hidden endgame. Maybe it’s Early Access: constant updates, random patch notes, occasional game brqaking bugs, and a dev team (aka reality) that never answers support tickets.

So what’s left?

Control your character, not the servers. Lag happens.

Laugh at the grind. Nothing stops entropy from nerfing your stats, but you can still emote.

Leave good patch notes. Your choices are the only changelog future players will read.

Meaning? Maybe it’s not “out there” waiting to be unlocked. Maybe meaning is just the way you play today, whether you speed-run, role-play, or just admire the scenery.

Anyway, thanks for coming to my TED-LAN party. What’s your build for surviving the cosmic RNG?
