How did Russia sneak those drones past several NATO countries in a supposedly very high state of alert against Russia? How did Russia bypass every and all security measure put in place and do something like this?
At best those defences and security measures were planned and manned by completely incompetent people; at worst NATO is completely unprepared for any actual operation against Russia, even on a purely defensive ground.
The only sure thing is that the Danish Prime Minister has made a complete fool saying that this was “the most serious attack on Danish critical infrastructure to date”.
And that’s because of a couple of tiny, little insignificant events in Danish history.
Things like the Battle of Copenhagen in 1801, with the British sinking and stealing the entirety of their Navy.
Or the Schleswig-Holstein wars.
Or the actual invasion that Denmark was subjected to during WW2.
But no, the most serious attack Denmark was ever subjected to is a flyby of a couple of unidentified drones over their airport.
It is not that easy, because you don´t just massive shoot down drones without verification and will always try to gain intel before provoking further agression.
Cui bono does apply, but it doesn't actually benefit Russia to cause such obvious disturbances, it does serve the aims of the EU types who want to justify more war funding.
Europe and Russia mean well, I think.
Why would they do that? That would make no sense in this situation
A problem with shooting down drones is what is on the drone?
Where will it land?
What weapons will be used?
And the most immediate question now is, will all airports start having surface to air or drone to drone warfare capability?
NATO could also just say, that drones in NATO airports are an act of war and will result in direct attacks.
But nobody wants to die over intel.

It makes for up for the Swedes completely humiliating the US Navy in wargames.
And the USS Monitor was designed by a Swedish guy, so we can't begrudge them.
