Australia is very inefficient

That pic makes it look like we've been covered with barbed wire.
OP's point is flawed.
Australia doesn't traverse in atmospheric conditions.
Downforce is therefore irrelevant.

How do you know? Maybe its the downforce of the wind that keeps the tectonic plates where they are.

Not only that, but it's land down under, so down there's it's actually upforce.
The really weird part is if it catches the wind just right, it'll come back to you.

its why it is always important to maintain your ground harness in australia, or you risk the wind breaking it. and if the wire snaps, you fall upwards into the sky

You were right! Australia needs to be rotated so it can cancel out the upforce and gain more downforce.
