It's about time!!!
I'm sure nothing will go wrong with designating something that has no leadership, organizational structure, or designated membership won't backfire at all.

I am pleased to inform our many U.S.A. Patriots that I am designating ANTIFA, A SICK, DANGEROUS, RADICAL LEFT DISASTER, AS A MAJOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATION. I will also be strongly recommending that those funding ANTIFA be thoroughly investigated in accordance with the highest legal standards and practices. Thank you for your attention to this matter! -President Trump
Putting them on a secret watch list like other domestic groups will provide more funding to investigate the more radical elements of the group. Worst case scenario tax payer money is wasted, best case, you catch the before they try to set government buildings on fire during protests.

I was banned once on this forum for saying that ANTIFA acted like terrorists.
Well that's interesting.

The president actually doesn't have that power. There actually is no list for domestic terrorist, only foreign. To actually do this, legislation would have to pass to expand the powers to involve a domestic list. After that, it would have to go through the process that identify it as an organization(with assets and an actual hierarchy) before it can be designated as one.

So it looks like he's just grandstanding again.

terrorist changed into "person I dont like" a while ago so it kinda makes sense
Good, now we need to proceed to arrest and trial for any person that is associated with the terrorist group. God bless America. :steamhappy:

Couldn't he find a loophole like, say that it's a foreign terrorist organization originating in Russia or something, but that it has members here?

It's not as if Americans don't join ISIS[extremism.gwu.edu].
Finally.

Considering it doesn't have any actual organization, there is no loophole.

Finally! When will the CCP get the same treatment?
Considering there is no such organization and that also Trump is terrified of people being anti-fascist, this news is both hilarious and par for the stupid fascist course.
