Friend REquests
Hello,
Just open letter to people.
Thank you all for continuing wanting to friend me it really is a nice thing to do.
I cut my friends list down a lot and rarely do i accept any requests now.
Please do not take this personally or as an insult, it really is not you it is just my preference.

Part of the reason is I don't talk very well in real time I have to concentrate in a way I don't want to when at a screen - when I do in a way that suits me to people who don't know me may find me very abrupt or bit mechanical and very task focused.

On forums i communicate with a variety of pseudo type code and convert that into a manner people can generally understand.

Another reason I don't is Steam is like other social media there are people who like to cause trouble and arguments amongst people and I don't like that so I further reduce potential conflict.

-Now on the actual forums and posting here you can see I am happy to discuss / get a chain axe and tell everybody they are all wrong .

So again thank you to people wanting to be my friend on Steam Friends list it is appreciated.
When I reject it this is not me rejecting you, it is just me saying we can still be friends and talk on forums still.

Besides Absolutely everybody at some point or another will get offended by me as likely I will be by them - due to the nature of me generally knowing everything and understanding things a lot more than everybody else.

I appreciate the strategy and the honesty.
I try to put my friends count at precisely the funny number.
Limiting it this way helps me remember who they are or what chatroom we met in, etc. and keeps total strangers away, usually.

I have only ever accepted two friend requests in all my time on Steam, from people that I don't know personally IRL.

I stopped excepting friend requests when one turned out to be racist fool

I used to tell people on my bio I don't accept friend requests but that seemingly made them roll in more
also for the people who already have me on their friends list stop trying to add my alts we are already friends lmfao uwu

Well I was friended with one of your accounts long ago and then it dropped. No idea which one is the main anymore.

I very rarely send friend requests myself, but I am open to them. I probably should be more proactive, but I'm afraid it would be awkward to add someone and then never talk to them
