Everyone should actually stop calling ugly and average people beautiful, it really gets to their heads and it ends up being worse for everybody.

Yes - one is always reduced to the looks. That´s more true for women - even in 2025.

Lately i watched a lot about Nico. Basically a former supermodel and actor, who didn´t like to be beautiful at all - and then became a musician and artist, and drastically changed her appearance, while heroin addiction would contribute to it as well.
