There is nothing racist about RE5. It takes place somewhere in Africa. If anything there is black protagonist, Sheva, and a side character that helps you out, Josh. Not only that but an Arab even helped you out at the beginning of the game because “surprise surprise” there are a handful of Arabic speaking African countries.

I've never played Resident Evil 5, but I don't see anything racist about the game from what I can see so far.

Game had multiple main protagonists with white skin, and all the player see's is "white person shooing black zombies" so I can understand their argument, but the context does situate itself in Africa. You expect all the zombies to be something else other than African? I think sometimes people should just relax and enjoy the game and stop being offended by everything. How come no one ever complained in other games when the other zombies were white? Kids should learn not to take things at face value.

Just stop being offended and play the game.

RE 5 isn't racist, and that's why no one complained at the time. Back then, we lived in an anti woke world that had practically no sexism or racism in it. Now however... it's been brought back and championed, ironically by people calling everyone else sexist/racist, when it's them that are the actual sexists/racists.

But ya, RE 5 is another game that could not be made in today's world. A white man killing masses of black and/or middle eastern zombies. They probably won't remake it either.

I 100% agree. I played 30 minutes of it back then and I never finished it. I remember feeling "Meh" and went back to GTA IV on the X360.

most of the resident evil games are ass, 4 (original & remake) carried the entire series
