Haskell library closes Canadian entrance
Trump continues to kill tourism. What is the goal here?

Canada needs to cut off the supply of maple gold syrup to the USA. Americans will either bend the knee or eat dry pancakes and waffles.

If you isolate the populace, it's easier to control and manipulate them.
How will Import my .hs files if the library is closed?
It's not the first time Canadians have been denied access. If their leadership wants to act hostile towards the US, they can be treated as hostiles.

Excuse me but Canada never threatened to annex US. You got it backwards bud. Canadians are not denied access per say, just have to access through a side entrance. Pretty childish maneuver by Trump. These are the kind of things he worries about. Someone should cut his social media channels.
No one is heading up north this time of year, so all that is happening is to make it harder for Canadians wanting to head south however, sounds like a bad time to close crossings, you will lose a lot of seasonal business from Canadians escaping from the cold.

Backwards would suggest the US threatened to annex Canada. It has not. That's nonsense Trudeau and Carney have stated to try to play the victim. We said Canada is so dependent on the US for it's economy, that they should join us as a new state. And considering Carney and Trudeau have twisted that to try to play victim shows they have no interest in any kind of serious trade with the United States, so they can just continue to suffer under tariffs. Not our problem Canada can't cope with the cold hard fact that they are dependent on us.

About half of Canadian businesses have expressed an interest in moving to the US to avoid tariffs, 40% say their businesses won't survive them. Better leadership in Canada would have considered their position more carefully before starting ♥♥♥♥ with the ones who keep them afloat.

That dependency was a mistake in hindsight. Trump made that perfectly clear but that's going to change. Auto industry will be hardest to adapt. Canada will likely tariff US autos which account for 70% of all US auto exports. Trump has really hurt tourism big time. US businesses are not unaffected so don't fool yourself. It's an unfortunate situation he created, no one else to blame.

Dude, the US has been telling Europe, Canada, and more for decades to get off or Jock strap and learn to be self sufficient. We shouldn't have helped Canada build their economy they have now by moving production of some things there when we could have just as easily let them collapse decades ago instead of hearing about how oh so mean the US is for asking Canada to stop trying to screw us over on trade.

Canada made this bed of theirs, they can either sleep in it, or get some actual leadership and not just another globalist puppet like Trudeau.

In the mean time, car companies will continue to build in the US, including Asian markets seeing Canada as too problematic as the US is overwhelming their interest in North American markets. Not our problem.

Trade had worked for the benefit of both countries. Trump is talking nonsense and now things be are worse. His claims of US economy has never been better is just more con babble. In a few more months he won't be able to find Canada on a map

No, it hasn't. Canada has started using tariffs and trade barriers against the US since Trudeau got into power. Nearly 10 years for now, it's what prompted the US to take measures to protect it's own markets, which we have every right to do. Don't like it? Complain to Trudeau about it... oh, wait, y'all just went and put Trudeau 2.0 in power as if that'll make things better.

Like I said. Y'all made your own bed.

Softwood lumber, crude, all heavily discounted. Trump may have told you things like 400% tariffs on dairy and he's right, except exports never came close to the trigger so it means nothing. He's a con and knows his fans support him no matter what. End of story. We're done with him. Good luck, you'll need it.
