In what way do you personally fight against Brain Rot?

I just ignore it...
Similar to fighting fire with fire, you can encompass the key regions of your brain with a controlled, selective rotting.
There's something called the Default Mode Network that causes you to think deep, intrinsic thoughts if you sit in silence and boredom for minutes at a time.

If you never give your brain a break and constantly stimulate, "Default Mode Network" doesn't happen (while awake).

Has anyone found a benefit to overstimulation?

Well, I'm convinced outside of a few adults: People just let it happen.

Use it. Instead of automatically scrolling google to see how to do something try figuring out on your own. Just like physical exercise for your body, your brain need mental gymnastics to operate and maintain capacity for critical thinking. You don't need ChatGPT to make a campfire, for example.

Sensationalism usually wins in this case.
I try to ignore it. I don't really have any socials and I'm introverted, so cutting out the human contact aspect of the brainrot helps. I mainly just sit listening to things on Spotify instead of rotting on youtube so that makes it easy. One might say I'm quite a loser by being a shut in but that's okay. I get to work from home which is calming. Though I did recently apply to a normal job to start going out some more, lol
Not dying helps.
