Carnivore Diet. Healthy or Not?
I'm doing this! But I've added fruit for the carbs. No grains. The only nuts I'm eating are walnuts in my smoothie in the morning. Lots of butter, ground beef, cheese, pork rinds, etc. Fruit is 2 bananas, mango, avocado, 1 cup mixed berries frozen.

So far I like it. For ex. For lunch I'll have 8oz grassfed ground beef, 2 bananas, 1 avocado with 2tbsp of Kerrygold butter. For breakfast its a can of sardines, 4-6 eggs. With a smoothie w/ protein powder, collagen, walnuts, etc.

So far so good. Which begs the question. What causes heart disease. Is it the high saturated fats, or is it the ultra processed foods we are eating. Is it the steak with sweet potato, or is it the steak with french fries with a large vanilla milkshake with loads of sugar, and other highly processed crap thrown into the standard American diet. Make me wonder...

Strangely enough, everything you just mentioned...
causes covid.

There are studies and counter-studies all allegedly done by scientists which just means at least half of them are doing it wrong, perhaps all of them. They can't even explain how magnets work.
meat is meat
You can perfectly survive on meat only. Maybe you need some fruits as well, just in case. Should probably ask an expert on diet, though. And a doctor to check if you're not getting any shortages.

Cool. I could do that
Im pretty sure that is something that should be better discussed with a dietician. Tbh, it should balanced and I don't think going full carnivore would be good... Are you considering a diet like that just for the sake of it? Or you have some goal you're trying to pursue?
The ultra processed foods are the worst. Paleo diet is possibly the healthiest.
that'd be omnivore, not carnivore

There aren't exceptions in a carnivore diet, which is only healthy for natural carnivores.

Heart disease prevalence in the US is related to diet and exercise (or lack of), sure. And certainly tied to processed fats/sugars/etc.

But one of the most significant risk factors, and the one that's easily the most ignored, is stress. It may be "typical" for people to live and work in high-pressure, stressful environments, but it ain't healthy.
You can be a successful carnivore if you eat all the other carnivores before they eat you.

I want to try it out because I've been eating horribly.

Why wouldn't it be a good idea? I'm eating whole foods. Don't know if you live in the states, but have you seen the majority of older Americans. Fat. Sick. Miserable. On Meds. And, I know what a dietician or doctor would say. Its extreme.

We have a sick nation. But look at this girl. She eats 12-16 eggs a day. Cheese. Steak. And she is thriving. Sure, its only one person, but going carnivore has been a game changer for her. But to each their own I guess.

Need to be careful to not get shortages, otherwise you may have to deal with this:

Better to just ask a doctor. This forum is not good for medical questions.

Don't change your diet without medical supervision.

you contradicted your initial statement because you know an all meat diet is extremely bad for you.

Lets all watch Goatis and drink the blood of our enemies!
Probably not.

I tend to lean towards the Whole Food Plant Based diet being the best though. Dr.s Ornish and Gregor, and Longgo would be good sources to learn from on why I think that.

So just eat Mediterranean it's not perfect to that stance but close enough
In my opinion, a carnivore diet is unhealthy. The healthiest diet, in my opinion, is one that includes plenty of vegetables, fruits, rice, and fish while avoiding junk food. Essentially, a pescatarian diet, which is what makes me feel the healthiest. Nuts, hard or cottage cheese, dried fruit, and yogurt are all good snack options.
