[Bug Report] The bell dropdown is not synchronized with the notifications page
It sometimes highlights already read threads, and often has a "New Comments" count that doesn't match what is found once the notifications page is opened.


ps: I couldn't find a bug report subforum, mods please feel free to move to the correct section if there is one.

I thought it might be helpful to clear the cache.

From your Steam Client, open the Settings panel by selecting "Steam > Settings" from the top-left client menu.
In the Settings panel, select the Downloads tab and you'll find the "Clear Download Cache" button at the bottom.
Then select "Confirm" to acknowledge this will clear your download cache and that you'll need to log in to Steam again.

Since forum messages are displayed in the browser built into the Steam client engine, it would be a good idea to clear the browser cache as well.

Steam > Settings > In Game >>> Delete Web Browser Data
