theres this neat building called a prison, complete with rooms where those who break laws are sheltered during criminal sentences. i could not believe it either, but apparently they put criminals there!

Jail.
Directly to jail.
Tried in court by impartial judges and possibly a jury of their peers, depending on the proof level required.
Released or incarcerated as determined during their sentencing.

• travel with visible muscle
  
• establish transparent 'all-clear' conditions with your non-visible muscle
  
• sweep for wires
  
• check the goods
  
• let them vet the cash
  
• tracking devices in the innocuous "gift," not the exchange medium

• don't talk too much
  
• don't make last minute changes

Everyone walks away happy.

Put a "no guns allowed" sign. That would stop them.
