id prefer a more socialist government both in the US *and* where I live.
i suspect most here will prefer more jackboot stuff.
But the solution is simple. Politics should not be a permanent career that carries the expectation of getting rich off lobbyist handouts. Public servants should expect public service, not private profit. That's it.
But when you let lawmakers determine their own salaries and write their own bribery loopholes, you get what you should expect.
Truth be told, it was actually the antifederalists that were the good guys back then. They're the ones who insisted upon the implementation of a bill of rights in order to ratify the constitution. I dare not suppose what sort of authoritarian hellhole the U.S.A. would have been like if it were not for its bill of rights.
It might actually be half as bad as Trump's opposition claims it is right now! :-P
I must give to Madison for doing the bulk of the work of penning both the U.S. constitution and the. bill of rights though.
I'd prefer a more integralist government both in the US *and* where I live.
my political stance is, for america, is that this is a country of the people for the people by the people, but the people no longer care and rather make dumb useless arguments online that go no where like children on a playground so I stopped caring too until I start seeing society act like adults again.
WE ARRIVE SUPERIOR
EARTH WILL SOFTEN UNDER YOUR FLUIDS
I don't disagree with the Republicans as I support them. The liberals however, may God have mercy on their souls.
In America, you exercise your right to vote. Contact your state or federal congressional representative.
Sounds like Plato's ideal government of philosopher-kings.
Seriously, I couldn't care less about politics until Trump took the throne for the 2nd time... Now it's all-consuming if you attempt to follow any news...
Would be great to go back to the old days when then most important thing was the invention of sliced bread...
