Delisted games
What are your thoughts on delisted games? Games whose licenses have expired and games that are removed. For example Adventure Time: Secret of the nameless kingdom was removed so it might never become a port in the future, and only those who bought it prior will ever get to play it on the steam deck.

I am playing Rambo, purchased a physical for $10 and the code inside it still worked.

Game's ass but I am having some fun with it.

i should've bought original crysis before prices for keys have skyrocketed, now i'm stuck with this godawful oversaturated "definitive" remaster...

As an adventure time fan im happy i bought 4 of the games on steam before i even know about the licenses stuff. I actually refunded and then bought it again for $2 on sale and its one of my most enjoyed games. I dread to think how many other games that got delisted that i missed out on.

I started truly gaming in 2014 so i missed out on the Crysis craze. my roommate in college use to tell me about the GTX 600 days when Crysis would make their GPU's cry out in pain.

Heavily compressed audio ripped straight from the movie and pasted on horribly animated cutscenes is charming in how bad it is.

Animations in general are stunning me with how bad they are.

For an on-rails arcade shooter you can still do much worse, at least headshots feel somewhat satisfying in here.

heard from people that gunplay in it feels nice, even though can't really say anything about it from point of personal experience since i'd prefer some HoTD 3 instead

i like how in original crysis, setting shadow quality to lowest completely disables them, meanwhile in "definitive remaster" it just makes shadows look little bit worse.
All data should be preserved and freely accessible.

Our data is what makes us human, not our meat. Our meat is just the vessel for our data.

The destruction of data is the highest crime, for it is the destruction of humanity itself.

If you haven't, I would definitely recommend playing the original Crysis today (not the remaster). It still looks incredible and is one of the best FPS games ever made, IMO. I honestly wish we'd get shooters like that instead of everyone trying to copy CoD. Even low-end PCs are finally at the point where they can play the game adequately.

there exists no way to easily purchase "clive barkers jericho" one of my favourite jank shooters of all time. it exists on no storefronts, and keys for it are insanely expensive. its actually more cheap to purchase a physical console version + an old console than it is to get a PC key.
