It's now almost 2026, and we are nearing the end of the decade
Yet, it doesn't feel as if my life has truly progressed past around 2023. It doesn't feel like society has gotten anywhere past 2021. It just feels like 2020 on repeat but like Groundhogs day where it just gets worse and worse every repeat.

Well, you're gonna lose the internet next year. As big tech makes AI slop generation available for the general public, it already has a pseudo-exponential growth.

Ultra-low-quality, low-effort content made in milliseconds by billions of people versus actual talent taking time and effort. Slop is gonna take over by orders of magnitude and finding anything worthwhile on the public internet becomes impossible.

Start preparing your offline tech ASAP.

Good thing I don't even use mainstream social media except for watching videos on YouTube and have mostly figured out how to make data-based websites for myself, as well as storing many things off-line.
We're not nearing the end of the decade. We've not long passed the halfway mark. Still heaps of it to go.
cant believe its almost the start of a new millennium. 2030 hype

I'd say the opposite. Covid lockdown has flipped a lot of people's psyche
I'm happy 2020 and 2021 is over. I'm in a better place than I was in 2020. 2025 has been a great year for me, and I'm not scared of the future. Worry and anxiety only hinders someone's personal growth.
sounds like self reference, the sun rises and sets everyday, hard to not see repeating patterns
We'll be in yet another war before this decade closes.

If you stayed offline and enjoyed life’s every moment, you wouldn’t feel stagnant.

Unfortunately, the year 2020 marked the beginning of the end for humanity.
