Though with enough USB ports and hubs it could technically be done, though they might all type to player 1.
Nah, they fired all the story writers, voice actors, producers and creative directors (original/authentic ones) and replaced them with AI instead, then they found it was not good enough yet, so a remaster will have to do, since the AI can just touch that up, bonus points for not using as many coders and other artists, recycle the code/scripts etc.
Welcome to the future of AAAA gaming.
A 128 bit product made by a 1 bit company, with a n0 bit brain. They probably want super fans to buy it on both PC and console because they have product differentiation via lazy product management.
Everyone waiting for AI to replace management. Lets hallucinate together, a future filled with agents (not the Smith variety, hopefully).
Gotta get them console exclusive rights for the Xbox series X2 sales.
Either that or when's the last time you played splitscreen on a computer?
...I REALLY hope it ain't just ANOTHER one to one graphics overhull remake of a remake they already remade.
Cause having the CE assault rifle now just being the standard 32 mag does not bode well even with the new fancier graphics that makes me not wanna play due to not because I DON'T want to play it... but because the specs are going to be demanding for me to be UNABLE to play it.
Seriously. Graphics are important when making and selling a game... but if you can't run due to your graphics card and/or processor card is sh*t/outdated then tough luck buddy buy a new gaming computer or laptop in the economy of sucks to be you.
I love Halo but the con of every Halo fan is seeing it fall constantly and being unable to experience it again due to not knowing you're making memories suck.
Really hope this remake remake RE-MAKE include the entire covenant cast to fight against.
Don't care if it's lore accurate or not but... do you really want to fight against Elites, Grunts, Jackals and Hunters and then fighting the flood infection forms, flood carrier forms, and the two flood combat forms again?
There are vehicles... but your mostly fighting either a ghost, wraith or banshee for all of it.
Cause the sentinels are only gonna appear as enemies nearing the end of the campaign.
Also given the weapon pool of CE... it's not looking great.
Cause they better be adding more enemies to fight and more weapons to use cause... seriously? You're going to remake the first halo again after... doing an okay job before?
Why not put that effort into remaking the 3rd game instead?
Cause re-making the first one again for the third time is like how Todd Howard though re-releasing skyrim with 3 different versions on different generations of consoles with bugs that still lingered since launch.
But if they're gonna do it again hey you do you if you're planning to buy it and play it.
Me? I'll just stick with playing it on the Master Chief Collection... cause why would I want to play the same game that just has a bit more features from the modern installments?
Seriously I do NOT want to wait for Halo 7.
And I do not want a Kingdom Hearts 3 scenario where it's actually the 12th game rather than being the 3rd game cause that sh*t gets more annoying than being the roommate of that one Eilte that finds humans cute and the moment he sees the most cutest interpretations of humans he lost conscious from being overloaded by cute things and now you have to take him to the nearest Sangheili hospital due to literally being overwhelmed by cuteness despite being considered a honorable and formidable alien race.
Don't even get me started on that his cute anime collection.
Cause not even a suit of Spartan IV Armor with advanced mobility can save you from almost dying from cuteness.

If this was 2012 I'd somewhat understand not bothering to include it, becuase local co op wasn't as prevalent back then as it is today. These days living room PC's and Steam Decks connected to TVs are a fairly common thing.
Again, the code is already in the game, so why remove the feature?
Pretty much the whole market these days.
Ironically the Halo Mega Bloks may seem like to be going down a downward spiral... but reality if Lego has taught me anything it's more like a cooler niche version of it.
Cause any boy would always gravitate to the more cooler version of a product first time they see it.
...and then eventually realize the cooler version of the product headed towards a downward spiral just like the brand it's based of it self.
...Only difference is when that Kid becomes a Teen and owns any Halo vehicle set that is never seen in the main games and decides to pick up Halo Wars 2 they'll be amazed when they realize that some of the vehicles in the game... is inspired by the Mega Bloks set.
....And THEN meet with disappointment.
The other one is not experiencing those things and meet something less or not disappointing years later.
...The theme of Halo this time is nostalgic disappointment isn't it?
