but why, I'm an empath and i'm nice :steamsad:
Soda can sit on the shelves for a very long time. Check the expiration date on the can.
Except Dr. Pepper is one of the fastest moving sodas at grocery stores. It doesn't even have time to go flat.
if it's stored in a window of the store, the direct sun light cause the pop to go flat, Circle - K had a bad habit of keeping 2 litre bottles of pop on shelves by the window

because mr pibb told me they will cast a hex on me and make all my fantas flat if i do not! i had no choice!
God... that's just.. dr pepper flavoured water at that point. The pizzazz is gone.
Do not underestimate the arcane power wielded by Big Soda. While the fizz of your Dr. Pepper may have been stunted by witchcraft, it will be nothing compared to the endless seas of Mr Pibb sacrificed on an unholy altar to bring about eldritch horrors unimagined by man or beast. The streets will be sticky with corn syrup.
Silly question...
Why would I bother adding water and carbonation to the real Dr. Pepper solution inside the free-standing soda fountain? If I could directly buy those little cardboard cartridges that go into that machine I'd be set for life. Probably a short life with instant diabeetus, but it would be a great 20 minutes.

Its not like they have a water line and a Fanta line and a MinuteMaid line coming into the back of this monster... there are refill cartridges and the machine adds carbonation and water at the right level.

Are You sure that it became flat - or could it be that it was flat to begin with. Like there should be no possibility how it should happen, because the pressure in the bottle doesn´t change.

The light thing above i only know from beer - but there its´about the hop, which is why most beer is in brown bottles. Like it changes the taste over time under UV light.

Sometimes it might be that the production might not have worked correctly, and the QA didn´t work as well. Like sometimes You might have half full bottles, or one which is flat. Should be super rare though. I personally wouldn´t drink it tbh, because i wouldn´t know what happened to the bottle.
