He doesn't even have a presence on this platform.
He's probably too lazy to do so.
However, it would be really nice to see him or read his answers to questions from our players.
For example, we could hold a question-and-answer contest and occasionally get his answers.
This would be very beneficial for the company's image. And having direct feedback from the player community is wonderful and would help avoid any potential mistakes in Valve's development strategy.

Considering what just happened to the CS2 economy, I don't think that's very wise

It isn’t just Gabe. Nobody from Valve helps people on here. Go on the Steam Deck forum. There have been and still are a few problems with the Steam Deck. Nobody from Valve ever pops into that forum to help address any problems. Yes, people can contact support, but they’re already on Valve’s forum. Can’t one of them help? No.

All I see from Valve is “This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.”

This is the most annoying thing. Like one googles a thing about a steam feature - there is a thread, and a couple of answers, but instead of clarifying, or giving a definite answer, or marking an answer, there´s that phrase.

About their own stuff. But even for other threads i sometimes don´t understand it. Like someone bumps an older thread in a gaming hub, with a still relevant topic. but instead of receiving an answer there is that phrase - despite "use the search function".

Seeing the absolute state of these forums and the incompetency of the moderators, I wouldn't vote for him to be a local dog catcher.
