But, y"know, Pwesident of Peeeeeace.
Venezuela vs. United States:borderlands2:
Three guided missal Destroyers and an attack sub will be along for the cruise, Carrier Strike Group 12 looks like it will be leaving it's two Guided Missal Cruisers behind.
When will the keyboard warriors here be drafted? A new Vietnam War is about to begin!:ZombieFromLake:
Gotta love being dragged into a war.

Fun bit of history, one of the previous times we sent warships to Latin American countries, we just sat by and watched the Chaquita Banana company slaughter a bunch of workers for daring to ask for basic workers rights.

We supported this because it meant bananas would be cheaper and being more money into the US.

This assumes Johnson ever calls the House back into session and swears in the duly-elected Representative who'd push that vote over the line.

For monitoring his son's porn intake, dude has no stomach for taking on kid-diddlers.

All I know is war, the fight never stops. This battlefield surrounds me. Death, what do you know about death?
Actually, now that I think about it, didn't the invasion of Ukraine start in a similar way?

"How could I possibly call back the House into session, when we are in the middle of a war".
Mike Johnson, November 2025, probably

As did George W. Bushs invasion of Iraq. You don't deploy forces like that into an area, if you don't intend to attack.

Bush didn't deploy until after the Trade Center attack though?

To be fair, the Iran strike in June started in a very similar way as well and that fortunately never escalated into anything.
