Because once you stick your head underwater, someone's right there waiting to drown you.
We know who he's talking about. Most of you have never even heard of a tariff before until the TV started pointing to the US and telling you to care.
Also it´s oftentimes a topic in the news, because China, and competition to the domestic brands, or for anybody who would buy stuff in another country in Europe - e.g. cars. Like we don´t have the same taxes all over the place. So there are tariffs, else e.g. the Scandinavians would never buy a car in Scandinavia - or any alcohol. I actually don´t know what they tax very high there compared to the rest.
The tariffs will eventually go away, but the price will never come back down.
That price is always passed down to the consumer.
