Honestly all that needs to happen is to change it so that politics can't be a viable long-term career. It goes back to being a "public service," bribery is actually illegal instead of loopholed into legality, boom done.

But when people taking bribes and getting paid time off whenever and wherever they want are the same people who write their own employment contracts...I mean, come on. How did anyone think it would turn out differently?
