Rpgmaker game curator
Check this out https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45690190-RPGMaker-Kino/ I noticed there was a lack of curators for rpgmaker games that were active so I made one a few months ago.

All of these are on my curator. Steam is just being really funny. Thank you though for the recommendations!

i think all the best games i have played in recent years were rpgmaker titles.

- fear & hunger 1 and 2
- lisa the painful
- omori
- OFF
- look outside
- black souls
- felvidek

all 10/10 games. something about rpgmaker just brings out the best in indie development. speaking of, do you have felvidek on there? definitely kino.

I definitely agree, there's something special about games made in rpgmaker. I'm working my way through Felvidek I got a few irons in the fire so to speak. I try to not leave a review for any game that is out and that I haven't played yet.

Seeing Black Souls on Steam wasn't on my 2025 bingo, the lore videos about the game make it seem like it is way more dystopian, than lisa the painful.

Edit: So what's your general review about it sal? It's a good game?

yeah, its great. it might be one of the most visually misleading games of all time, because aesthetically one might assume it is a cute little rpgmaker title with nary more to see. much like "omori" or "jimmy and the pulsating mass", it only pretends to be like this at first, but is actually a horrific, hellish game in disguise filled with horrible and disturbing things.

I see thanks! Will check out more lore videos to understand a bit better the story, and the characters.
Upon further lore videos, it's like the original fairy tales before being disneyfied, mixed with actual lovecrafting madness, and heavy amount of trauma. Plus based around some IRL facts, about fairy tales books authors.
