Some dudes are gonna get messed up, but unless they're doing an Assassin's Creed and attacking 1 at a time, they're gonna wreck the ape.
trained fighters are different, regular people 20-30 might be a fair guess who knows
A gorilla has low endurance stamina for prolonged activities but excellent stamina for short bursts of intense power. There is no doubt the first person touched is likely dead, but fighting is a very cardio intensive activity. Try to shadow box for 5 min's at a semi decent pace.
50 mma trained men in good shape is really overkill for this.
So first off, 50 of them can't reach it at once. Four or five at once tops and you're crowded. Now all the gorilla has to do is snap 4 necks or crush 4 jugulars at a time. That's not very difficult - for the gorilla. But honestly it doesn't even need to do that, any real amount of biting or crushing and MMA dude's out of the fight. Whereas, the gorilla is going to have to be literally dead before it stops, because it's a wild animal.
Meanwhile, mma guys only have their bare fists....and that's really not going to do much against something that's about 5x as dense and thick as human tissue.
Even if the endurance is as lopsided as you think (which it isn't, incidentally - all hominids are on the endurance divergence path), the gorilla doesn't have to spend near as much energy to completely incapacitate one MMA fighter as that MMA fighter would to even noticeably wound the gorilla.
Finally, nature doesn't have any rules, and for a guy who's used to ring fights to be tossed in there with something that will immediately gouge out eyes or bite off testicles if it gets the opportunity...yeah, no. Sorry, not gonna happen lol
Not because they're better fighters than MMA guys, but because they're used to fighting in groups, fighting dirty, and life-and-death stakes...none of which describe the MMA.
Against a wild animal, a guy who's survived being shot and stabbed multiple times and has no qualms about killing is going to put up a much better fight when that gorilla bites his hand off.
