Also, I hate coffee and refuse to touch it.
so u just live life completely sober? lol
I think it has different affects on the mind from coffee or sugar, and cigarettes. It is less addictive than harder drugs, that is true, but one out of five people do get a bad addiction from it.
I think addictions to drugs that have strong affects on the mind like that can lead to those particular people getting into other drugs that can lead to other people being put in danger, and I think it has an indirect connection to increased crime rates. I feel the same about alcohol, but you know... Good luck convincing society to ban alcohol. I do not feel that way about caffeine, or cigarettes, I do not think they leave the same mark on society.
I also think the drug in question has long term side effects not yet discovered in studies that influence thought processes, memory issues, and more...
And also... The stuff is just nasty, and some people will do it inside a building invading the lungs of anyone stuck in the building with them. I know from experience because it is legal in my state. People wouldn't do that if it were illegal.
Good for you.
Now are there certain cases of people going from one to another? Yea of course but there's tons of underlying factors we don't know about like mental issues and family history of addiction that vary per person. Cigarettes themselves are a big issue along with e-cigarettes, we know plenty of the hazards to everyone's health cigarettes cause and we barely know anything yet about the e-cigarettes. Cigarettes also stink way way worse then weed ever could, people have been smoking in apartments since weed was introduced into the Americas.
I can agree that weed definitely has some possible health/mental concerns down the road with long term use.
Last thing is making weed safer and opening dispensaries is better then keeping it illegal and letting all the fake stuff keep getting bought and killing people who want it for medical or recreational purposes.
