Remember years ago when you were in elementary or middle school and periodically there would be rumors on the playground that were often completely wrong and amusing in hindsight. You know- the “My uncle works at Nintendo and said…” type of thing. I thought it might be a little bit fun for a topic, so please tell me:

What ridiculous rumors do you remember from your youth?

Two I can think:
1. Something about either catching all 150 Pokémon and then you can move the truck and Mew is under it or about using the Cut HM on a ship to access a room that contains Mew.
2. Because of Rick Astley’s voice relative to his appearance, I once heard a rumor that the actual singer was one of the black backup dancers and that it’s a lip sink.
