It just a painting
Hard to say what the punishment should be, probably house arrest and told to not do it again.

I say this because, in the mind of the activist, they not really harming anyone and they doing it for noble reason. They think the world dying so they get our attention to try prevent it. It a bit dumb way to go about it but it is what it is.

I not support throwing them in jail for something so trivial, it like throwing a child in jail for having a tantrum and throwing soup on thing.

outside of that being a really funny comparison yes nobody should care its just a piece of paper whose information is written down a gorillion times and can be printed

These people should realize that doing something dumb to bring attention to their cause is only gonna make more enemies.

It ain't big deal, it just silly political thing. It not big enough crime for me to put people in jail for. House arrest for a year and a warning is fitting

Those weren't grade-schoolers; they were grown teens at best and full-grown women at worst. They knew what they were doing.

They didn't get worked up. They walked in there fully prepared to ruin an expensive painting. They knew what they were doing.
