Oh yeah, once made a comment and they just outed themselves as two faced. Don't bother trying to talk to people outside of the video games. Most of them are unhinged and some completely insane. Go outside; find an active hobby, make some real friends. Peace.

Some games literally only sell copies because it promotes the toxic subcultures. For a while Ark Survival Evolved was popular only because you could grief in pvp servers, or Rust where you can't go into an official server without a griefer, cheater, or someone dropping a slur.
You are just wrong, it has nothing to do with competitive, its just internet being anonymous, pve games have this issue and singleplayer games have communities too that are more toxic than Chernobyl
Counter Strike 2 is the most played steam game right now, obviously the most played game will have more toxicity than your average 50000 players on average game lol
