It's very nostalgic.

I've seen this a few times before on those random dead forums that peaked during the golden age that'll randomly pop-up through a web search. ♥♥♥♥ from 2001 with single solitary comments from, like, 4 months ago with 3 years in-between the posters.

It makes you wonder about the psychology that motivated these people to create an account on a dead forum. It's like they've visited the catacombs and left a response to some graffiti that was up since the 70's; the motive behind it is just, random. You might as well be writing a letter to yourself at that point.
