why are game profiles at points shop expensive?

2 weeks ago i bought:
1 Animated avatar cost 3000 points
1 Avatar profile Frame cost 2000 points

My steam points 1386 now

actually i want to buy dying light 2 game profile :(

it's kinda hard to buy a game profile cost 10.000 steam points, i've reviewed 2 games, cs2 and l4d2, but noone reads my reviews and gives me steam reward
it' sad 😆

How do you earn so many steam points? Im struggling to earn those, sell many cs 2 cases but steam dont give me steam points 😆

Cause my steam profile means nothing to me and leveling it up is also pointless. I don't even use the showcases i have now. Wish i could sell my unused ones for wallet money.

I presume the market sets prices based on what people are willing to pay.

And kids have demonstrated willingness to pay absurd amounts for stuff likes skins and account flair.

you just have to make guides/artwork/reviews to get free points. for example I used to make steam content (380 guides) and i got over a million points from that many guides

there is much easier way to farm points. doing guides is not effective as its algorithm depended. if the algorithm buries ur guide all ur efforts r in vain

Tbh you dont need the profile picture you can upploud your own avatar or picture. And animation is cool and all but that will prevent you from partisipent in eminent christmas festive thread since author aint skilled enough to deal with that.
