If you can add something of value to the thread like an input even just to say thank you this solution still works fine but if its just a 10 year old thread brought back by randomuser889 just saying "lol" it only ever comes across as purposely annoying. uwu

if it's obsessively old , I personally can find it a bit weird to see my own 10 years old post suddenly resurface about a subject I now have a completely different point of view or opinion on today.

Well i could have said something 5 years a go and suddenly it's brought back to the present day and I don't agree with what i said.
