I do remember HATRED causing a big uproar due to it's edgy nature. Thankfully, Steam allowed the game to stay and it wasn't kicked off the platform because of complainers.
This one on Steam though, you're some creep, you enter public trains and.... you get the idea.
Found it, not sure if its on the same level as the game you mentioned but I do not want to know either way.
Theres some game on steam thats a vr game where you sneak into a womans home and cause her to fall asleep via a drugged handkerchief I dont remember what its called but its pretty bad, and you can imagine what you do after that.
is probably the latest one. And looking it up just now in the store, I see its getting an expansion dlc.
I guess a lot of people really liked it.
Maybe its not even controversal these days, looking at the rest of the internet. That stuff seems to be getting more common.
Also since cyberpunk's launch no one cared about that side mission because they were focused on game breaking bugs and what not.
don't know the name anymore and if Internet Archive will work to view it still, but someone made an discussion about an literal CP game being on steam (loli stuff)
except that's the most controversial one i can think of.
