yeah, i only saw music racers and runners too

If you're looking for a rhytm game like guitar hero but with weebish music try Osu!.
If you have smartphone that can run games then try Dynamix, Voez and Zyon Rhytm Game. Those have good electronic music to suck you in.

It isn't on Steam, but Phase Shift is almost exactly the same, and it has a very active modding community.
