Should their be son and daughter days ?
You get fathers day, you get mothers day,etc so how comes theirs not a sons and a daughters day. Think its crooked, a rigged game parents play to steal back the pocket money they hand out ?

Shouldnt the children get their day in the sun ?

Because children already get showered with gifts for no reason on literally every holiday ever plus their birthday.

Because we're not exactly entitled.

Because most parents work extremely hard, and kids get to live their life as kids, so mother's and father's day is kind of a "Thank you for being my mom/dad and for supporting me" day.

Not all childrens parents have money.

So then they wouldn't be able to get them anything on son/daughter's day either.

So what would another holiday accomplish?

No. That seems unneccessary. We already have too many "Happy [whatever] Day!" as it is...

Lets not forget no child asks to be born.

They could make a card.

They can do that for every other holiday just as effectively.

Not having ANOTHER holiday where kids get showered with gifts for not doing anything makes kid's suffer?
