I did but it kept activating when playing a game just want to know if removing it all together is fine and won’t mess anything up

If it comes up just press WINKEY+G and turn it off.

But you should have a disable option in the OS Settings

i removed it with one drive. dunno if ms solitair will install it back. the only reason gamebar xbox cime back. geez =/

I had more issues when I removed Game Bar as opposed to disabling it the proper way using a mix of normal settings and the registry. The real problem is that stupid overlay which was similar to the Nvidia overlay. It is weird to have three different overlays when playing a game.

I always disable it in windows. But Xbox/microsoft started to annoy me with popups for gamebar and game pass/xbox app...
So on one computer i had to remove everything...with there stupid advertisement. Ask it once and accept the "no"....
