Need help getting steam to recognize my existing library on Linux Mint
recently switched from windows 10 to linux mint cinnamon. im currently dual booting windows 10 and linux, and need a way for steam to recognize my existing steam library.

i have tried multiple things online but nothing seems to work specifically for what i need to do. if anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

Can Steam see that drive OK that you have the ganes on?

You tried making a new Steam Library with Steam Client? Then exit the Steam Client and put the games in the new Steam Library? Just make sure the folder structure is all correct. Then load Steam back up again and click a game you know is present click install and as long as it's within the same Library folder it should then see it and verify it.

Yeah i have been trying that but it ends up just reinstalling the game instead of recognizing that its already installed
Did you install linux mint to a new drive, or is it on the same drive as windows 10?
