I have a wire temp tester for my 5090, works a charm and didn't cost a thing.

Actually does look kind of cool, might grab one.

I am interested, waiting for reviews though. The docs say it gets VERY hot and one needs to wait for it to cool down before touching.

80 bucks to tell you if you plugged a cable in properly.

Just take an extra few seconds and check s the ONLY times anyone has managed to get the cables to mess up is by basically simulating that it was not fully plugged in.

If there are tests I've not seen, please share with me as I'd be interested in seeing them, but from everything I've seen that is a gadget to cash in on people's paranoia and is not needed.
huge waste of money.can use gpuz and or msi afterburner on secondary monitor or in game with msi afterburner to monitor your GPU and CPU or just 1 of them in real time

bending the power cable is also known to short out the plug been using this on my 4090 from day 1 tight fit and no stress on plugin.

And bending the cable is essentially the same issue as not properly inserting it, the cables get shifted a bit so are no longer fully inserted, I thought it would be common sense not to bend a cable too harshly, but I guess I forgot to underestimate humanity lol.

So. I guess, yes, for people who force a cable to bend at extreme angles it has a use, though for the same price you could buy a better custom 90 degree cable.... Or a better / bigger case.
Have any of you had a burnt connector? Due to bending?
