Upgrading my Acer PSU + GPU
Hello, community! Anybody, a helping hand please?

I own an Aspire TC-1780, with these spec:

i3-1310, 300w PSU, camed with 8gb but upgraded with another 8gb/now dual channel

While I'm verry happy with the PC, I just found out I have proprietary parts.

I researched here and there and I found there's a 500w PSU for my model

[{ODKAZ SMAZÁN}] /

DC.5001B.009 original Acer Desktop-PC power supply 500 Watt
I really need a better PSU to so I can get a 1440p GPU like 4060ti/5060ti to work.

Now here's my question, I'm a little skeptical to buy from another country especially when have to pay in advance, so I heared a 24pin to 6pin adaptor could work with my motherboard and a standard ATX PSU. I would preffer this choice, but not sure if it will work, never done it.

I also don't know what PCI for GPU this motherboard has. I also don't know what ATX PSU to get or if I could expect more then 5-10% performance lose from 4060ti/5060ti which I'm fine with, in case motherboard is pci 3.0 and gpu's are 4.0.

Can anyone guide me please before I blindly invest?

Thanks everyone!

I will check on the adapter and ATX PSU in a moment but for now, it's safe to say that the Motherboard would have PCIE 4.0 not 3.0 as you have a 13th Gen CPU.
the board does not use a standard atx psu or mobo

there are adapters for some boards to use atx psu, but that looks like a sff psu, not even atx shape or mount

if you are looking for a better psu, and gpu
might as well get a standard atx case and board and swap everything
These Motherboard can't be adapted to regular ATX because the voltage regulators are on the Motherboard itself. You simply have to use a GPU tbat doesn't need extra PSU power

Damn.. are you sure? Can I use any kind of program to give all details of my motherboard? If you'r correct, I'm so screwed...

Thank you so much for your time!!!!
the psu on your acer is held in with 3 screws in a triangle shape
thats sff
not the offset rectangle 4 screws atx uses

the psu DC.5001B.009 has atx mount, will not fit the case, even tho it has the connectors for the board

the board is this

will not fit a standard atx case

sadly it will be about $100 for a board 1700 with ddr4

Thank you both for your answers.
So.. I don't mind at all if it fits in the case or not as long as it works, I will manage it somehow.
I really want a better PSU, I can't change other parts of the PC for now.
Do you know a legit place where I can buy a 500w compatible with my OEM parts?
I know there's that 500w version but I don't know where to buy it, a legit website.. and which one to pick.
I'm so confused about all this proprietary sh..t.. X_._X

I just want to be able to upgrrade to a 4060ti.

So what you are saying is I have the option to just replace the motherboard with a new one and keep the proccesor + ssd + ram, get a standard usual PSU cus it will work and after any GPU I want? and only the acer PSU + acer motherboard are proprietary, right?

Sorry, I may sound noobish but its first time I'm confronting with such stuff.
